Default Maybe, just maybe.......

According to the weather service, other than some flurry activity tonight, we're supposed to have sunny and clear skies for the next three days. Friday in particular is shaping up to be better than I have a right to expect. My current high for flights in a year came back in 2002 when I was but a young buck of 40 and flew 156. This year I've flown 144 at the much less young buck age of 51. Today on the way to see my Dad I noticed that B6-4 Field has resurfaced and actually has dry dirt on the infield. The outfield might be a bit soggy, but I have boots that can handle that. My co-worker got me a couple of Hobby Lobby gift cards, so I'll be making my first motor buying trip in a month or more today when I wake up. Tonight after dinner I'm going to prep a bunch of small field birds, including several from the current stock of bargain basement Estes birds. No snow on the hill. No soccer on the field. No kids in the after school program. I'm going to shoot for 20 flights.

Good Luck, Bill.

Up here, today's wind are 20mph gusting to 28. Through the end of the week nothing less than 10 mph. So no small field launching going on around here. Just staying inside and keeping warm.

20 flights in one session?
That's impressive.
I'm looking forward to the flight report.

Any chance you'll make the OAMC launch this weekend?

Wishing you clear skies and no wind.

BTW, I had sent a PM about a Quest launch controller a while back. Have an extra.

Doubtful, but I won't count it out. The weather looks okay, but I may be going to tour a farm that belongs to a friend of mine. If I do come, I plan to make it worth my while.

Tomorrow is looking good for me at the moment. I got a bunch of birds prepped tonight, all first time flyers, and even brought my Estes Star Trek rocket to work tonight so I could replace the shock cord. Now it all comes down to what time I wake up today.
