I talked my wife into going and we'll be staying at a motel in Warrenton about 7 miles from the flying field.

We'll be there all week.

See everybody there!

I might miss a day or two on the weekend to go to a wedding, but I'll be there at least for the whole contest week.

I'll be there from Friday through the entire week and leave on Saturday morning. I'm not competing (not willing to transport tons of rocket stuff), so that will free me up to buy on site, build in the room (or on the field...) and fly a bit as well as do the tourist thing.

That's a good point, Fred. I keep stressing about shipping or bringing with me a bunch of rockets, when I know that I'll be buying stuff on site.

One thing I absolutely want to have with me is my Rokitflite Odyssey. Plus a few other much shorter rockets. I have no doubt that the 14 or so rockets I have listed in the "Preparing for NARAM-50" thread over on TRF will end up being *maybe* 5 or 6. But I keep building things so I'll have a bunch to choose from when the time comes.

My wife agreed to let us take our vacation time to goto NARAM-50. It will be my 1st since NARAM-2 and -3. I just came back to rocketry last november 2007. We'll be at the Sheraton 4-points.

I'll be competing, and hope to end up in the top 10 after its all done. I've got 4400 points (not shown on the standings yet) and one more regional this weekend (July 28-29). I'm still struggling with a scale entry, but have and R&D submission.

Me at Alamogordo June 21-22
