SpaceX SN15
The FAA gave clearance to SpaceX for S15. Looks like they will launch tomorrow. All that's left to do is give the evacuation notice.
Status check for a Starship SN15 test flight on Friday: - FAA approval ✅ - Temporary Flight Restriction ✅ - Village Evacuation Notice 🟡 - Marine hazard zone posted ✅ - Road closure scheduled ✅ - Official confirmation from SpaceX 🟡

SN15 has had a delay or two from software and weather, but will likely fly tomorrow (May 3).
Regardless of SN15's launch status, SN16 construction continues and could fly by the end of the month. While we know that their tests have been successful in development of the Starship, their spectacular RUD's have caused many people to consider the ambitious SpaceX program a money wasting failure. Let's hope tomorrow brings another successful test flight and a Falcon 9-like landing so that they have to make a decision on whether to scrap the SN15 or extensively modify it for more ambitious test flights.

No flight today. TFR's removed for today, but they have TFR's up for tomorrow and Wed.

There's a chance to launch SN15 today, but the winds are too strong right now. It's forecasted for it to get better this evening, but who knows if it will be enough.
Road closure isn't scheduled until noon. .

Work has started at SN15. They are pulling the tie-down straps off the flaps at this time. I have to wonder if their cherry picker is the world's tallest.

Pad has been cleared. Final checkouts started.
Shouldn't be too much longer before they start seeing tank farm activity. Winds are at 25 mph. It might get interesting if they decide to fly.

Well....it looks like SpaceX is no longer live at that link. Not sure why they stopped.

Other than the clouds and poor video downlink, it was a beautiful flight. SN15 landed at the edge of the pad, but considering the 20 mph winds, I think it did pretty dang good.
The NASASpaceflight guys kept saying that SN15 would re-ignite all three raptors then shut one or two down. Video only showed two and they burned all the way down. I don't know if the third started and immediately shut down and we just didn't see it because of the poor downlink, or if it never started. If it didn't, the question would be, was it supposed to?

Looked like a methane leak. I don't think they ever actually hit the leak's source with the water cannons. Once the methane tank's pressure was completely relieved, it went out.
