Very, very sorry to hear this. Roy was a fellow Georgian. It has been a long time since I have seen him and we only met a time or two, but still, sad to hear.
Rest in everlasting peace, Roy. Earl

It is always such a shock to hear news like this. I know Roy had fallen on some tough times a couple years ago, but it sounded like things were going much better.
I am glad to have had the opportunity to meet Roy several years ago, at NARAM-18 in Pueblo. I’ll miss his observations and historical knowledge of our hobby.

I met Roy at one of the first NARAMs I attended.
He was a great guy and we would often tell stories to eash other. I once got Roy in some hot water with Bill Stine concerning a review Roy did of the MRC Concept II products BIll designed. Roy's review in his local NAR section news letter was not overly positive about the product line. I told Bill about Roy's review and Bill had words with Roy. Roy and I were fellow Canon EOS-20D camera owners and would discuss camera techniques. The last time I say Roy was at NARAM-60. We were both in the same Estes tour group. I took a funny picture of him in the lobby of the main Estes building. He was a good soul and I will miss him.

Bob, I found my pictures from the Estes Tour at NARAM-12. Looks like Chris Michaels is a Canon fan, too. And here is our group photo out front. I had forgotten how many people were there that I either knew from YORF, or the FB rocketry groups. A really memorable experience!

Does anyone have a link to an obituary for Roy? I've searched a few times the past couple weeks for Roy Green in Georgia but have not found anything. I know newspaper obits in many places are fairly expensive these days, but in lieu of that, generally funeral homes will also host obituaries for the family.
If anyone has a link or a pointer, please let us know. Earl

Unfortunately, I did not know him well. We did meet at NARAMs and share an affinity for beer lofting...
