Estes Nose Cone P/N 072071 3D Model
Here's my latest 3D creation of the Estes Nose Cone P/N 072071 and associated other parts for two kits it was designed for -
the Recruiter (kit# 2013) and the Beta Launch Vehicle (kit# 2054). You can download all of these 3D files in STL format for free from Thingiverse and print them on your printer. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5262769 |

Great work as always, thank you once again for all you do and for making these totally free to the model rocket world

Based on what I've done so far on the Interceptor nose cone I should be able to post it this coming Friday or Saturday.

That would be great!
Can you post the Interceptor E size cone also? Thank you either way

What Estes tubing does that use?

Sorry for the delay, it looks like this rocket first appeared in the 2008 Catalog, but looks better in the 2010 Estes Catalog.
It uses a Main body tube rated at 2"OD, heavy walled. Not sure of the inside ID? My guess is, Estes uses the same 2" body tube for the Pro Series II rockets? Can't find no inside Specs on these either. It would be nice if someone with an Interceptor E could just post some nose cone measurements for us?

All I need is the ID and OD of the tubing. I can upscale the nose cone to the appropriate length with just that. -Jack |
