I've done 9 upscales of my designs for the H-13 longburn motors, these require a size of around 4-6' long and 30" to 42" wingspans and an airframe weight of around 22-28 oz less battery and motor for a flight weight between 31-36 oz rtf. Which allows vertical boost and a reasonable glide time and a cg shift that is trimmable with elevons, and boost altitude around 1000' which is around the limit of my vision for orientation when looking up the ass end of the model. I decided to basically upscale my smaller Shuttle that I kit but make the 6" fuse built up with 6mm and 3mm rolled depron and a lamination of 6mm and 9mm for the wings and tail. Turned out pretty well, right at 34 oz rtf, 36" wingspan. All of the black and markings are hand cut with an exacto knife and applied using a hot hair dryer to conform into the foam. it's standoff scale with concessions to save tail weight but looks the part. The H-13 has around a 16-17 second burntime and are a perfect motor for this size and weight. I've flown around 100 of them now.
