I was disappointed that they did not drive downrange and catch a shot of the rocket landing viewed through the windshield.

Interesting old advertisement from Chrysler:

Chrysler built the Saturn-I's and IB's (at least at some point past the early prototypes). And the production Redstones. Article I found:

So ... did the Saturn I or 1B ever have any MOPAR bumper stickers on them?

Back in the 1960's my Dad and I would visit the McDonalds on Van Dyke Across from the Chrysler Tank plant, and just south of the Chrysler Missile Plant. I never had a clue that the Red Stone Missiles were being built in that building, but loved to watch the tanks lap the test track.
And all for less than a buck, chocolate shake included.

Amen to that! I think I had too much video-induced motion sickness to be able to enjoy the flight, let alone keep track of the location of that Mustang Mach-E. The launch sequence was kinda cool though -- sorta looked like the mother of all CATOs there for a moment. Speaking of which, I would love to have a rocket range like that in our area, complete with PA system, siren and launch control blockhouse.
