I myself am not in to 'resto-rocketry', but I think a handful of YORF'ers do indulge in that activity, so I thought there might be some interest in these old kits. It is kinda sad to think that many of these old birds in estate sales and such simply wind up in the trash.

They're awesome. I'm trying to decide if I want to pick up a lot or two just for B6-4 Field use. Patina rocks.

Hope you can snag some then, if so desired. There is a vintage Centuri Egg Crate which is a fairly rare bird. Only in the 1971 catalog.

Decent deal on a trio of Semroc kits, in particular the Omega (also the Launch kit and a Lil Herc kit). All three for $70. Seems like someone here was looking for an Omega not too long ago.

Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2255680631...AAOSwqkxkV~D 4

Not my listing nor do I know the seller.

That IS a reasonable price—but I’m going to reluctantly pass.

I see the seller’s handle is “chertologist”. Is that someone that studies the widow of Sonny Bono and Greg Allman?

Could be!

Actually, chert is commonly known as ‘flint’. A kind of rock. So, maybe they are a rock collector of some type.

Ah so! I remember chert because I took geology as an elective in high school for one quarter. Hmm, I don’t remember there being any girls in the class. Hmm. Hmm.

Another decent Semroc trio from the same seller for $69: Repros of the Centuri two stage Centaur and the payload rocket Snipe Hunter and a repro of the Estes Farside X.
