Small world.
I lived off on bloody 98.
You should know what that means.

Yep. I lived behind where the college is now.

I worked in one of the converted hangers right inside the entry gate. They used to prepare the Bomarcs in that hanger and tow them across Highway 98 for launching by the sound.

When I was a kid, back in the mid-1970s I witnessed one of the last Bomarc launches. My dad parked our car somewhere along the road there and we waited to see the launch. After a long wait, and it getting dark, my dad gave up and started to drive away. Just about at that moment, the whole area lit up as the rocket launched. I don't recall much except the brightness, but it is still a cool memory.

Yep, you told that story before, but it is worth repeating.
Good story. Love to hear stories about places I lived at.

I am getting to the age where retelling stories becomes a habit. :-)

Me too !

Isn't that what musicians do?

I do it quite a bit.
Someone said they threw a sign in the the woods by the college, I found that sign years later.

Just kidding!
