Smokey Stover.

What a character.

I met him in the spring of '85. My BIL was in his band and my BIL wanted out.
My BIL introduced me to him to me to replace him for me.
Oh Boy! They were a band that played mostly pop music that was current at the time.
We played a VFW hall on Sunday's to the members.
They also played C&W music that I was unfamiliar with.
This made me uncomfortable.
Smokey and I delvelope a singing rapore that irritated the band.
One by one , band members began to guit..
The writing was on the wall and I was asked to leave.
I did with heavy hart.
