PNC-60AH (Patriot/Omega/Renegade cone) is absolutely idiotic for anything resembling an Alpha.

I actually prefer balsa cones. I like the finishing process of balsa.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

You just love sniffing sealer and dope. Go on...admit it.

While I do not deliberately "sniff" Aero Gloss, I certainly don't mind the aroma.

Original Hoppes #9, real lacquer thinner, dope, fresh gasoline....wait. It seems like we've gone down this road before. If I only hadn't killed those brain cells I might remember.

Fortunately both of the Super Alpha kits I have had came with balsa nose cones that were close....and there was a time when you could get proper BNC-60Ks from Semroc when the kits first started showing up with that plastic one.

Karl’s Semroc had a special where he provided a similar NC free with another order so you could replace the nosecone in the Estes kit. . (BNC-60K, the Alpha cone is what I got).

I never knew that, but it does not surprise me. I feel fortunate to have experienced the old Semroc when Carl and Sheryl ran Semroc. I also had the pleasure of meeting them in Pueblo, CO at NARAM-52. Wonderful people.

I agree, SAM, all the little specials, and customer service really made them special.

You weren’t talking to me, but yeah, it smells good. I haven't smelled Hoppes #9 in a couple years, but that’s another great smell.

I don’t smoke, but I still remember the smell of lighter fluid when I was a kid, and my dad flicked his Zippo lighter.
