The 18mm Aerotech RMS reloads are full 20n-sec Ds, which the SU Quest Ds are NOT.
It would fly even better on those.

The C6-3 flight, as expected looked awful. Estes should scrap that motor from the lineup now that they wisely brought back the C5-3. Nothing the C6-3 does that the C5-3 doesn't do better. They need to bring back the C5-0 and B8-0 boosters.
The D16 flight looked good under boost, but the descent under chute looked too fast. I think I'd try the next larger size chute.

, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Part of the problem on the decent was the chute and shock cord got tangled up with the clear fins.

Hopefully it wasn't damaged by the mangled chute.

Nope, R2 is unscathed by both flights. Not a mark on him.

The D16 seems to be just perfect for it. And I love the black smoke trail.

R2 was beat up pretty good in the original movies. You could just say it's scale "weathering" if he does get a little landing rash.

Mine gave me a scare, but the chute deployed and she landed without incident.
