Default Bluebird

My son wants to build it , sooo . It is a follow up to his red max clone ( which had a tragic first flight, under powered on the cluster ) , I guess he likes the blantatnt neo nazi theme .
Gosh when i was young that was cool red baron and so on , now it is not so politically correct

I'd not worry about "political correctness", it is WAY overblown these days. Look at all the plastic models and toys that depict Nazi Germany war machines. And how about the popularity of the V2?

One of my favorite builds as a kid was the Flying Jenny biplane glider (Estes Plan), and you can get a kit of the "Nazi" equivalent now:

How in the world does one under power a Der Red Max clone - and in a cluster no less?!
Did you make it out of lead? or was it a Micro Maxx cluster?
(perhaps you meant unstable? - do to the additional cluster motor weight without compensating with some additional nose weight.)

Default all of the above

Yes it could have standed a bit of nose weight , and he put 3x b4-4 's in it , only 2 ignited .
B-6's it may have done it . I suspect it had alot of rod drag as well. Hey it was his first semi scratch build .
In the end it snaped off 2 fins , ill repair it and examine it a bit closer .

It is a nice looking rocket anyway

Speaking of MMX clusters , my 3x MMX saturn cluster managed to cato 2 of its motors . Some CA ran down ( or up) the the toothpicks and glued the nozzles shut . it survived
