Small R/C rocket gliders using D2.3 longburn motors
I designed these two, one a low wing delta with a small amount of dihedral and the other an XB-70-ish design with a high delta wing, both are 24" long, 15" wingspan, bt-60 based using standard 8 gram rx and 8 gram servos, weight with D2.3T loaded is right at 5 oz
They really boost nicely and glide reasonably well as sport flyers that look like a rocket plane. They are scale downs of two of my larger E-6 based kits. https://youtu.be/vGRJW6rhpjE |
