Default RIP John Erickson 11-27-09

This photo from the friends page today reminded me of John as I remember him. As we were all flying rockets, he was flying airplanes powered by rockets. He made swing wings, flop wings, and other things suited to rocket boost and glider recovery. As national leading edge rocketeers led the world in the art, he remained in close friendship and contact with those folks.

John will literally be remembered worldwide. Not so much as an architect, or a runner, or a biker, but as a glider nut.

Who knew? Claremont Rocket Society did. Cahuilla Park, Claremont, CA.

RIP John Erickson. Peace.

If you are a personal friend of John, email me for what his family wrote about his untimely, but quiet death.

Just Jerry
