Update: Thanks to a couple kickass yorfers (is that a word?) I have gone from no nose cone to two of them! One is 3D printed, the other is a matching cone that came in a Cosmic Interceptor bag with a bunch of other parts , as well as the decals needed for it. Thank you guys, really amazing response time and help that was over the top and unexpected. So here are a few comparison pics of the cone's side by side, and where I am at in the build. The 3D printed cone does not have as much detail, is 1/2" longer, the canopy is taller and set back a bit and the shoulder is much shorter. If that all sounds negative let me add I am quite impressed with it...seems very sturdy and the canopy really pops seeing it on the rocket, and I am going to use it and keep that stock cone with the awesome kit it came in. I added a wood disc to the shoulder which I will be able to add a screw eye to. I have scanned the decals, so I can stretch and print the windows to fit this canopy better. Still thinking about if it would be easier to paint all the plastic parts first and glue onto the finished rocket, or install first and prime/mask paint after as I normally would. Glad this kit is finally seeing the light of day, even if I did almost sand through the top of my fingernail working on those support pieces

Finally finished painting this bird today. This kit was a lot of work and the decals will be tricky I think. Hopefully they will not be too troublesome.

Decals were actually very easy to work with and really make this rocket. I'll get some future shine on tomorrow and finish up the recovery system. What a cool model.

I still haven't built my Interceptor-E kit, but I'm DEFINITELY putting a 29mm mount in it.

That 3-D nose cone looks pretty nice. The tall canopy brought the Delta Dart and Delta Dagger to mind.

I’ve only flown my Interceptor-E once so far. Used the 24/40 RMS with the F-24W reload. Beautiful flight. Nice flame, too.

Yes I like how the canopy looks on this a lot.

That takeoff picture of yours made me laugh out loud, it looks like it's about 8 feet tall and some dude fell asleep with his head leaned against it. He is gonna have a nice black line on his face in about 1 second

It does! This was a shot my wife got, sitting in the stands at NARAM-60. Normally she is up against the ropes, zoomed in. I’ve given up trying to get liftoff shots, I always have too many things going on ... like worrying.
