Can't say I blame Eugenio. Some horrible stuff has has been said about him and Troy, which I'm sure is not true.

Default Best of Luck

Sorry to hear that you are leaving TRF.

I just recently rejoined model rocketry.

The The Rocketry Forum was an excellent source of information to help me get 'restarted' and the community was extremely helpful.

Shame about some of the negativity on several threads here and elsewhere. Internet forums threads can go badly wrong and generate 'lynch' mobs fairly quickly. I had posted a positive reply regarding TRF elsewhere but there was way too much 'negative' inertia in that thread. But it sounds like things calmed down a bit.

I hope TRF owners manage a solution and continue to be party of the rocket community.

Best of luck to you, Eugene.

I’d like to add that I look forward to seeing TRF back up and running soon.

TRF has been a great source of information for we rocketeers on the other side of the world, not to mention giving us a sense of being part of the rocketry community. I sincerely hope that it can become a fun place to hang out again.

OK, I posted the thread over in "Projects" . The build was a lot of fun but the flying was better! Man, maybe I shouldn't have used "was" ........hopefully it won't fly away.....

Eugene

I too am sorry that TRF got in the middle and became the "bad boy" in the situation. Things got out of hand. Could there have been a better way to handle it, I do not know. I do know companies have gone bankrupt just defending themselves from lawsuits (they have to pay for their lawyers, but many plaintifts get lawyers who will work for a percentage of the awards).

In some ways, I feel I am partly to blame. When I saw where the thread was going, I started to avoid it rather than jumping in to provide a more positive spin.

I'm sure that after all you hard work and dedication to be attacked must have left a sour taste. On top of this, your post indicates concern on your overall finance situation. Combined the stress must be enormous. I do hope things work out for you.

I hope you get your enthusiasm back and your other matters improve so you have the time and money to enjoy the hobby.

I have greatly enjoyed TRF and hope it recovers. I am looking forward to it.
Good luck - and thanks for all your support

Les
