Default Sunward Kits

Apogee Componants have annouced that "Jim Danforth, the owner of BnB Hobbies, has concluded a deal to start producing the Sunward line of kits, and hopes to start releasing them before the end of January 2019. According to Jim, the kits will be revamped with totally new instructions and other enhancements. They will not be under the Sunward name, but under the BnB Hobbies brand name."

I hope they produce some of their fighter jet rockets!

That's good to hear. I've been wanting to get some of the Canaroc clones.

Their Canaroc clones were their only kits even remotely interesting.
Now if they would bring back their motors....

I'd take a hard "Pass" on all those kits even if they were brought back.
A local hobby shop still has some of those major duds.
They have sat on their shelf hooks for probably TEN YEARS.

JimZ Has the plans, but he has been asked to take them down this weekend.

I have to say that seems like a poor (and mean-spirited) business decision. By all means make and sell cool model kits. But trying to keep the contents of that kit shrouded in secrecy? Bad form. Without the plans, the files, the catalogs, a kit has no life in posterity and few will care if it is ever brought back. Estes and Carl@Semroc shared files of their current and past models - and those models are/were more revered as a result.

Those designs and plans are not your or my intellectual property. Someone else did the work, and they own them. Ther demand to take the plans down is not mean-spirited in any way. We are not entitled to them, and obviously, JimZ is posting up plans like crazy without asking for permission.

Thank you! Those have been hanging on pegs there for a long time, I was getting kind of tired of seeing them.
