Dave, I did Google this and I can post a link to my files. I’ll put up several tomorrow (Monday) morning. I certainly am happy to share my files with anyone.

Here are a couple Cricut links to designs I have saved.
Goblin Decal, sized for BT55 (standard size): https://design.cricut.com/landing/p...bdabe09e07a0b16 Goblin Decal, sized for BT60 (extra decals provided): https://design.cricut.com/landing/p...6435c0a1cc8b764 Enerjet Decal: https://design.cricut.com/landing/p...907a90da4509847 Note: The color of the BT55 Goblin decal is black, the BT60 decal is yellow. This does not matter, it just denotes that the file is cut in a single color. If a decal has 2 colors, such as blue and red, when you go to cut, it shows a blue mat, with only blue graphics displayed, and a red mat, with only red graphics displayed. Any project can be scaled up or down, that is how I created the BT60-sized Goblin decal. The Enerjet decal is all black. It will also likely need to be re-sized for your particular application. I did the single color for simplicity, originally. I cut two full-word decals, in the colors I wanted, then ppicked the pieces I wanted (like black for "Ener", red for "jet"). Next I would cut the decals apart, and place them as two decals, black and red). You could do a two-color decal, and the layout would have separate mats shown for each cut. The placement on the rocket still requires two decals, but you don't have vinyl wasted from the other two pieces. Vinyl is so cheap on a per decal basis that I decided not to go back and edit the file.

I don’t have much affection for Facebook but I do like to look at the purdy pictures - here’s a link to an Estes Der Big Red Max post with very nicely done CriCut vinyl decals https://www.facebook.com/groups/mod...33584023351775/

Doing the Red Max decals was going to be my next project. The post on FB looks great. The post says he overlayed the white on black. It may be possible on some (most?) to actually cut out the overlaps. I did this on my old Broadsword that was done in Super Big Bertha motif. Here are some pictures of the “SUPER” overlap with the “BIG”.

Dave, my pleasure. I have a lot of text-only name decals done. I just go looking for different fonts, download, and install on my laptop. Those are pretty simple to do in Design Space. I have also downloaded some other decal images, like the graphic decals for the Maxi-Icarus, and Firefly, that I used to learn how to use the Cricut. I am happy to share if there is any interest.

Thanks, Lee! If there are enough people that start using this device I could make a sub-forum here for people to share their Cricut files.

Sounds good, Scott. I have contacted the person that did the Der Red Max decals in the 3” size. I’ll see if I can get it from him. Of course, it could be upscaled or downscaled easily for use on any body tube size.
The real challenge is designing cut files for decals with graphical objects. Text decals are really easy. And things like roll patterns, which use common shapes like squares or recrangles, aren’t too hard to do. I hope more people consider trying a Cricut, or other vinyl cutter.
