Sorry for so many follow up posts, just the way my memory recall works.

The k-36 also had the bt101 and bt50 stuffer tubes in 2 pieces, a real pain to line both up when building the rocket.

Here is a completed ebay of a Estes Range box, which included the old Chrome Citation series porta pad, and old style car battery type controller. I did not know they ever put any of the Chrome pads in anything other than the Citation line.

Not certain, but I think they did a little later just trying to get rid of them.

+1 to what Earl just said above.

I forgot about the larger fins on the 2001 kit.
Actually the K36 would fly just fine on the tiny scale fins WITHOUT the slip-on clear fins if one added a couple ounces of lead shot/epoxy in the capsule. Those ugly slip-on clear fins positively SUCKED.

Default Vintage-ish Ketones

Hi all,

Found this and ordered one; https://www.ebay.com/itm/234938558971
a tad pricey but has that great funky waft.

Bob
p.s. I use a left over packing tape roll backed w/a square of corrugated
cardboard as a non tip-over; other bottles in the corral help btw.

Well, not cheap certainly but if you just HAVE to have one......

Centuri Mini-Max Aerodart kit in the box. No motors. They are asking $399 (remember I said not cheap).

$399 is probably a fair price for that kit.
Mini Max kits almost never come up on ebay.

Best listing within the past year or so..
The parachute is missing btw.

Note that it's a hobby shop kit; not mailed to a catalog customer.
Has anyone ever seen any kit of this series in a hobby shop?

Bob
p.s. gotta' love the blue silray reinforcement material.
