Default V-2 Plans

Hello, I am searching for semi-scale V-2 plans. I am interested in models less then 36", not the super huge ones. Already have the old Estes K-22 kit. What is out there?

You interested just in current kits or are you open to out of production models?

Estes currently makes the #3228 which is 22.4" tall....I believe it is very similar to the #1926 produced from 1984-1987.

Plans available on the Estes website.

Space Monkey Models makes a 1/24th scale V-2/A-4 model. It is plastic, but could be modified to fly. It is a scale, not semi-scale.
James Duffy is one person behind Space Monkey Models. He and others on the USA World Space Modeling Championships just returned from Slovakia. The Scale Altitude models were Bumper-WACs, which used a V-2 as the booster.

Chas

P.S. The kit also has a DVD on the V-2. Haven't even opened my kit yet....

Semroc sells a V-2 xKit of the Estes K-22 which has all of the parts, but the instructions need to be downloaded from JimZ. You can get one here: http://www.semroc.com/Store/scripts...asp?SKU=XES-K22 .
