I was recently asked for measurements on my Centuri LIA-50 Launch Pad.
Here are photos with measurements for anyone wanting to clone one. Steve Last edited by Gus : 11-24-2013 at 11:43 PM. |

Hole locactions:
Center hole is pretty much where you'd expect, at the center of the box. Launch clip lead holes are as shown. Fireproof sheet is placed in the middle of the box, pen is used from the backside to mark the hole locations. Last edited by Gus : 11-25-2013 at 12:21 AM. |

Got to appreciate the early Rocket companies, a piece of wood some hardware items and they cranked out some great looking launch pads. Good info, Thanks

My LIA-50 in the fall of 1967 with the first model rocket I built out of a Centuri parts assortment. The pad, Mantis launcher, blackshaft tubing, and other goodies were stolen out of a storage unit back in the '90s. Really miss that little pad.
