Estes Minotaur IV kit?
Hello All,
If Estes still has the molds for its MX ICBM scale kit (the bi-conical nose cone, first stage display nozzle [I *think* it was plastic, but it may have been card stock; I never had a kit], and clear plastic fins or fin unit), these parts could be used to create a scale kit of Orbital Sciences Corporation's Minotaur IV (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minotaur_IV ). This orbital (or suborbital, depending on whether it uses four or three stages for a particular mission) launch vehicle is derived from the MX (LGM-118 Peacekeeper) ICBM. Its prominent and varied decor schemes would permit the kit builders to customize such a Minotaur IV scale kit to depict any of several rounds.
