The Olympus marks only the second use of a BT-65 sized tube from Estes.
The only other time was the clear payload section (PST-65) on the original Astron Scrambler that was last catalogued in 1977.
Estes used to offer two different Balsa cones to fit the PST-65. The Scrambler one and a shorter/stubbier cone.

1) I don't need any more rockets, I've got bins full.

2) Man, that looks neat!

Does the Olympus have wood or plastic fins?

The sticker reminds me of the Colossus, except now its a goofy Zeus rather than He-Man.

The Green Eggs payloader bulk-pack model also uses 1.8" diameter/BT-65 body tube.

I wonder if the NC & bulkhead are molded in that color? It'll be nice to have a BT-65 clear payload kit available. (other than the Semroc Scrambler, of course)

Seriously, would you not buy a rocket because you didn't like the decal?

I always avoided "The Launch Pad" kits due to the LACK OF DECALS and cruddy balsa quality.
Yes, decals are important to some of us.

I certainly would not. In my case, I just used part of the Star Orbiter decal...

And I have leftover letters and the diamond thingies if anybody needs some.

Default Estes Motor Variety Pack

Don’t know if this is a Hobby Lobby exclusive or not,
But I haven’t seen them anywhere else ( except for some of the older
Starter kits). Contains 1 ea. A8-3, B6-4 & C6-5.
