If you don’t already have one Pm me your address I have an extra retainer from one of the e2x kits John mentioned above. It’s blue if you care.

The screw on retainer on the BT50 e2x kits is great. Did you design that John? |

Being the only designer at Estes during the Hobbico years I pretty much designed everything but three products. In the case of the new E2X \ARF stuff, I designed the parts and the marketing group would create new rockets out of these parts.

This looks like the answer. When I get to my room in Muncie (I’m currently in Des Moines) I can cross check between a Solaris I brought along for Fly-It/Take-It and my 1/200 Saturn to confirm. Wolf, I have some of these parts loose at home. If you don’t get another retainer before I get home from the NARAM trip (August 16th, current plan) then I can send you one. But it looks like 5x7 may have it sorted for you before then. Thanks for validating my opinion of “jahall4” over there on that other forum.

From threads I’ve read , I’m thinking you designed all but the Rouge Voyager, Air Commander and Laser Lance. Is that right? |

The Big Daddy is Matt Steele's design, so that's one current product.

John specified the Hobbco years , which are 2010-2018 and I’m thinking he means rockets released in that timeframe. The original Big Daddy I think was from 2005 or 2006. Now back to our Sat V thread... |

Boy I completely forgot about those Early ones that were started by Dorffler, then finished by me. This should be everything else designed by someone other then me up to actually this point and time. In addition to the kits I've also done the two new launch controllers and all the new plastic accessories, including the E2X plastic stuff, plus lots of other small things here and there. I've also done all the bring backs which in most cases are more work for me to do then starting from scratch. Air Commander- Mike Dorffler Laser Lance- Mike Dorffler Vagabond- Mike Dorfller Hyper Bat- Mike Dorffler Rouge Voyager - Mike Zaborowski-Hobbico Astron Sprint XL- Mike Zaborowski-Hobbico Astron II Launch Pad- Mike Zaborowski-Hobbico MERV- Jason ?
