Default Project : SAND ( Honest John - Nike / Nike-Nike )

A friend of mine sent me some scale data on Project SAND. I have never heard of this project before, so, I'll share it here.

I also received a couple of pdf files, but they are too big to post.

Would be fun to do a 24mm-18mm two-stage with an Eggfinder Mini in the nose.

ST-10 to BT-20 is a really close diameter ratio match for the airframes. BT-20+ and BT-50H (1.0 dia.) bring in the other straight sections almost perfectly.

Looks like a Fitch-style post. Are you Fitch? Asking for a friend...

You're welcome. My buddy shared it with me and I asked him if I could post it here. I had never heard of Project SAND before.

Here's an Open Rocket simulation. Rocket is a 2 stager BP powered, and uses BT-52H and BT-60 body tubes.

I believe that if you change the extension on the .ork to .pdf or .txt, you can post it here as an attachment. The downloader will just have to change it back to .ork.

Also, if you use Quest 30mm for the Nike airframe, the diameter match is improved.

The OP provided all dimensions necessary to build the Open Rocket simulation, just requires a bit of effort by the end user.

On my simulation I used gap staging, and it features rear eject for the sustainer.
