Not exactly a MODEL Rocket, but...
I was watching the webcast for the SpaceX Falcon-1 when it crapped out...
...Only to find out that it wasn't just the web feed that crapped out... The Falcon-1 was lost seconds into the flight to a malfunction of unknown origin. The Space.com website reports the rocket began spiraling during the ascent seconds after clearing the tower, and then the on-board video was lost. The rocket was either RSO-destroyed, or broke up on its own (this is speculation, since I haven't seen any additional photos of the attempt). I'm a bit miffed that SpaceX cut the feed and didn't continue the broadcast, even to show what was happening. Even NASA shows us its failures. SpaceX should have at least as much courtesy as that...
