Default New stuff on the Saturday flightline

These are the first flight rockets that I plan to take tomorrow. Most only need decals. (But my printer needs ink. )
A word of warning. If any of you are building the Semroc Aerobee, the black decal must be trimmed close. It's printed on white decal paper. Some genius figured that out AFTER he tried to apply the first one, but I'm not naming names. My Homer moment for the evening.

This didn't work out like I'd hoped. I put off going on Saturday because my wife wanted to go to a flower show and I had to take my daughter to her ice skating lesson. Reports from the field made it sound like I didn't miss much. Sunny and warm, but too windy. I've deposited enough rockets into the surrounding neighborhoods so I spent Saturday night finishing up my five year old Andromeda project. Today looked great, but the winds picked up as I neared the field. Sure enough, at the field the winds were again high, the field was muddy from Saturday nights rains, and I realized that I forgot my boots AND my Bomarc. I waited around for an hour, but in the end I wimped out and went home to help mix concrete for a retaining wall. Maybe in two weeks.

And will you be deleting the NAPALM option from the BOMARC on the upcoming flight ?

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

Not to worry. It's been too soupy around here lately. I'm going to get that thing flying if it kills me.
