Default WTB Estes 1972 Catalog

I've been collecting Estes catalogs for some time now. Looking to fill in some holes. Looking to purchase a 1972 catalog if you have a duplicate in your collection. Thanks!

That one is a tough one to find a nice example.

Yep, was gonna say the same. They just don't seem to pop up like some of the other years catalogs.

I remember that catalog.

If I recall correctly, that was the first year they got away from using a heavy cardstock for the cover.

To make matters worse, it was landscape orientation instead of the usual portrait, so there was more leverage to tear the cover off at the staples.

Bill is correct in both of his above observations about the '72 catalog.

Well, here's the first one I've seen listed since this request was put on YORF. Not cheap. Asking $100. These just don't pop up very often at all.

Yes I saw that one. Way too $$$ for me. The last one that sold on eBay was $26. But yes, it does seem rare.
