A 2 or 3 stage flight would be fun to watch too, say a C11/C6/C6-7.

C11-0 or C5-0 to D16-8 two stage flight would be even cooler providing a large enough recovery area.

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Flew it eight times today. Got a good C12-6 flight in that batch. Will try to have this one and a few others' video posted over the weekend.

Cool, Wow! Is around 100fps at ejection correct?

I just went back to RaceRender to step through it and yes, that's what it looks like. From the ground it was clearly still going up at a good clip at ejection. But I didn't realize it was still going that fast. The boost was so straight that I was watching it from almost directly below so it was almost impossible to judge the speed.

It's pretty amazing that it all held together and seemed no worse for the wear under those conditions.

I was trading PMs with Steve Naquin at the field and he was the one that wanted to see a C5-3 flight....

Do you roll the chute? If you do I bet it helped it all survive.

If a chute and airframe cannot withstand a 100fps deployment with ZERO DAMAGE, they FAIL the "DURABILITY" test in my book.
Flight looked GREAT to me !

Just wait til we take it out of NEUTRAL ! (From the Jetsons where they are shopping for a new space-car)
