I know that Estes keeps an archive of their catalogs going back to (near) the beginning on their website. But did they ever create one for rocket plans? For some reason, I thought they did. If so, I cannot find it anywhere.

Reason I am asking is to find out what size parachute came with the Mega Der Red Max. If anyone knows. Give a shout.

They killed all that when they went to the new site design last spring.

You can still find the stuff using Wayback Machine, though.

Yup, 30 inches. I just pulled the parachute out of my almost dead-stock MDRM and that is what is in it - a red 30 inch nylon parachute of the sort that were in all the earlier PSII kits.

Any motor recommendations? I have the ones Estes says. Was looking for experienced opinions.

My favorite MDRM motor is the Aerotech I200 White Lightning, but I've also flown it on the G77, H165, and H210 Redlines. It's gained weight over the years, it's well over 2 lbs now, so though it first flew on an F52, I don't think that would cut it now. Probably a minimum of a G64-4W.
