Default Faux TLP Tan Sam project - kind of a build thread

Despite the rather maddening demise of my Faux TLP Anubis last month, I downloaded a bunch of pics from the TLP site of potential project birds. One that interested me, though not so much in the stock BT-80 form, was the Tan Sam. I scaled mine down for BT-60 and through no math ever heard of in a public school system, figured out the dimensions, fin sizes and locations, and tube sizes needed.
Yeah, that ol' math bugaboo has tripped me up in the past, but this time it was my eyes that betrayed me when I mistook the 27.72" figure for 22.72". I spent the better part of an hour working to put a teeny little tail section with the motor mount onto the back of the full length BT-60, only to find my notes and manage to pull the motor mount out before the glue set. In the end, all I'm out is the little piece of scrap BT-60 and half of the tube joiner from the Estes Vapor kit that became a donor for this project. Once I realized my error, I found that I had more space to work with and got the body tubes mated and the fin guides taped on. Later today I'll print off a 4fnc fin guide from Payload Bay and get to work on making this flyable by next weekend, but now I hear the siren song of B6-4 Field calling me and the 20 rockets that I prepped on Tuesday night for the planned Veteran's Day launch. I got sick and missed it, but the winds outside right now are elsewhere, so no time like the present.

I have an unbuilt Tan Sam if you’d like some measurements...

That's okay. I'd still like the details. It's on my list.

I thought this might happen. I never seem to be able to remember to take pics as I did the steps of the build. At this point it is ready for fillets, then primer, Fill & Finish, sanding and paint.
