That nose cone! I can see why they didn't try to reproduce it. I'd put my eye out!

I have two Semroc projects currently on the table, one that's being refinished, the other that stalled back when I bought it. The first was the Semroc Recruiter. It was finished and had been flown, but I never really warmed to the project and decided to redo it. I have the fins, transition and nose cone sprayed with black metallic. Planning on orange metallic on the upper tube and either silver or white on the lower tube. Still working it all out in my head, but I should finish it this weekend. The unfinished project is the Semroc Laser X. I have pics from the start of the project back in my 2.0mp camera days, so it dates back to 2003-04. The parts got scattered when we moved, but I've managed to round them all up. Fins have been on for a few weeks. Rear vanes should be finished today when I get home. Sunday is supposed to be a beautiful day here, so if B6-4 Field doesn't get hosed down too terribly when Laura moves through, I might get a chance to do my all Semroc launch.

Default Just nasty outside

So I build and repair inside. What a concept!
The 36 D Squared is finished. If we ever get to fly in the cornfield again it should be my leadoff flight.
The Kormoran is a guess-my-best downscale of a TLP bird. Amazing what can be done with just the pics from the website. Thinking it will be D power and probably seek out Loopy's car if he's flying that weekend.
I really thought the Saki was finished, but it looks like it will fly again thanks to eRockets.

I can measure the 2.6” Launchpad Komoran if you want to do one.

Thanks, but I'm probably going to stick with the BT-60. I have the BT-80 Exocet downstairs and it's HUGE! I did a fin set for the Kormoran in BT-80, but that would be a monster as well. Have you flown yours yet?
