Well, about one week from today will mark a decade since we lost Carl, believe it or not. Wow, SURE DO MISS HIM!!! But, the loss we feel in the hobby pales compared to the loss that Sheryl and Bruce felt that day a decade ago and likely continue to feel to this day.

Continued prayers for his family as this milestone anniversary approaches and to Carl we say yet another “Thank You!” for all the wonderful rocketry products and memories you left with us! You set a very high bar with Semroc that few — if any — have been able match!!

Earl

Nice words Earl. Hard to believe it’s been so long.

Earl, Amen to that. Yes, nearly impossible to believe. My thoughts are with Sheryl and Bruce. And BTW, no one has EVER attained the level of service to the rocketry community that Carl achieved. At least, not since his passing. He is sadly missed by a great many.

Agree with Earl it's hard to believe 10 years since Carl's passing.
No finer person in the hobby industry anywhere at any time.

I agree wholly with the sentiments expressed. And I always looked forward to those white boxes.

Default Seems like yesterday..

Carl and family are royalty in my book...

Carl dealt straight, was honest, generous, and had a great sense of humor.

At one of the meets in Pueblo, he sidled up next to me and gave me one each of
the then new Maxi Micron and Centurion F kits and said "here, build and fly these, don't tell Cheryl"

Also, I appreciated the holiday sales but had no problem ordering at the
list price.

Carl once sent a note along with my order apologizing for having to charge shipping on my order to Canada. But he noted that, since he gave free shipping to customers in USA, which cost him $5 per order at that time, he was discounting my shipping charge by the same $5 to be fair to me. Truly a one-of-a-kind guy.

I only met Carl one time, but he really impressed me on how nice he was. He even made a point to trying to remember me next time he saw me. Unfortunately, that never came.
