These are so cool! I wonder what the value of a Hydra VII kit from Semroc Mk. 1 would be?

Here are Semroc motor pictures that Danny sent to me.
Dale Windsor, feel free to use any of these motor pics on your OOP motor website.

Those were pics of motors I have seperate from the kits. Will send some pics of ones thru bag. Anyone need any kit info, let me know. Am about to put em back into box & dont wanna keep doin this. The bags are so airtight, no air will escape from them-like working w/inflated balloons ! 1970s air ! ( SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSniff !) dannymrmissile. |

Man, now I really wish I'd ordered something from Semroc back in the day. Had the catalog, but I think I must've had some anti-regional bias -- and I'm from the region! Oh well.

Never saw Semroc products in California during the late 1960s-early 1970s. I wonder if Semroc had their motors California Classified?

[1] I wish Semroc included that Swift decal sheet in today's Swift kits! [2] How did those original Semroc kit's shock cord anchors work? (From the kit parts illustrations in the "Rocketeer Collector's Journal," it looked like a card stock strip with two slits cut parallel to its long sides--as if the strip was perhaps rolled into a cylinder and glued down inside the body tube, like the anchor ring used in the early Centuri Astro-1 kits.) [3] Are the instructions in the original Semroc kits in booklet form as in the current kits? Many thanks in advance for shedding any light on these!

Wow. I had wondered if an original Semroc kit would ever surface and you've run across three of 'em. Nice snag. Thanks for the photos.
