Default Thermal Hawk Glider

I'm assuming a standard launch pad is being used.........
There's maybe a foot of rod length available when the B/G is flown.
You need more guidance.
I learned this trick at NARCON awhile back.
Get a 3 or 4 foot dowel, sharpen one end, and pound her in the ground.
Take a 4 foot rod, tape it to the end of the dowel.
I use a piece of metal tape over the dowel as a deflector of sorts.
You place the pod on said rod, use a clothespin to hold it up an inch or so.
Put the glider on the pod.
You now have over 3 feet of guidance for your B/G.
My boosts are MUCH straighter using this technique.
YMMV
