That's how I got this while flying alone.

Yeah, that's probably what I'll have to do. I'll have to practice synchronizing the shutter click with the button push. (Or actually, a split second after the button push.) I imagine that one has to develop a knack for it. But I have a large album full of pictures that show nothing but smoke that I have taken at club launches and other events over the years too.

My camera has a burst mode. I downloaded 313 pictures of the Sunday flights. What I posted here were the representative few that were worth showing. I push the button just after the countdown reached "one" and hold it until I don't see Rocket anymore. I also tried getting some climb out shots this time, but that will need more practice.

Don't get excited. It didn't fly well, and I used C6-5s.
I think it's just painted yellow, with a coating of tar from another project. It's new to that spot.
