Default Enerjet Nike Ram Clones

I have been slowly working on two Enerjet Nike Ram clones.

Until Thursday and Friday. I went into high gear.

Motor mounts and recovery system anchors installed. Fins attached.

Fin fillets and launch lugs next.

Very nice Bob. Keep us posted with your progress. I have enough Semroc and custom parts to build three of these with three sets of fins cut and Nike Ram decal sets from Phred but as usual I am distracted and onto other projects .....

Progress on one Nike Ram clone...

Here's my 'display' Nike Ram. It can be flown but I intend it to just be admired. My other Nike ram clone will be the 'flight' model.

Yup, Scott, I actually DID build that Nike Ram. Not to alarm you, even more, but I have a SECOND one to finish with parts for a Third Nike Ram in a box!

I thank you for the compliment.

Odyssey kits? What's that?

Wow, memories!

I had the original model. Bought it direct from Enerjet /Centuri. As I recall, it had a plastic cone, and a really big streamer.

Lost it flying on a D12-3, which I'd built up with lots of tape.

AAA Model Aviation Fuels had a sort of chubby upscale version of the Nike Ram. One of my first real high-power motors. I lost it too, this time with a F-something-or-other.

Yes, you are correct.

I still have an original Nike Ram in the box.
