Too bad. If it was, I was going to talk Tony into going down for it, at least for a few days. I have no idea where I heard it, so I can't say how credible the source was.

Plus, I've flown exactly ONE rocket in 2013 due to rain and schedule conflicts, and I didn't get to launch a rocket on my 45th model rocketry anniversary Tuesday as is my custom.

That's too bad, Roy.

I was looking forward to talking with you.

Maybe next year?

Looks like my son Luke and I are going to try and go for a bit on the weekend. So, we'll have some square rocket kits with us, including the new kits.

Hey Gordon, if you see this and can, bring a UFO Invader set of decals. Thanks.

Current weather channel forecast for the week is mild and dry, so bring your SCUBA gear

NOAA says hot and thunderstorms.

I guess, who do you trust?

Nice!

One of my two candidates for cycling bucket list, along with this little climb . I was seriously thinking about this being the year for one, since during a 3-month stint between jobs I was getting into awesome bike-shape, but broken ankle a few weeks ago put those aspirations on hold.

Plus, something tells me I'd be a little tired trying to do that ride, rush to the airport, fly cross country east, and scramble to turn in Sunday night models.

May the wind be at your back the whole way...
