It does take a bit of practice to get the aim right, that's for sure! I was doing this at a local park a while back, trying to recover my Crossfire ISX when an old couple came walking by. They were watching me curiously, so I turned and said "squirrels just aren't biting today". They continued on with heads shaking.

Terrific launch report and fantastic pictures. I greatly enjoy reading about your launches, and that's coming from someone who is certified Level 7.

Nice launch report and a fun read. How are you able to get in so many launches in 2.5 hours? It averages out at one launch every 8.3 minutes. You must be very quick prepping and recovering. I'm lucky to get half that many launches in that time frame. Do you prep at home?

Well, it's a small field, so I rarely have far to walk on recovery. For the most part I'm by myself, so there aren't that many distractions. No flight cards to fill out. No lines to wait in. I actually thought about prepping at home while I was flying on Sunday, but I'm not the most organized guy in the world. I might give it a try the next time, which I'm hoping will be this coming Sunday.
I never thought about the time between launches being that short. I'm doing pretty well, aren't I?

That round thing next to the pad is a nice touch...find another one and you could be having your very own BALLS launch...

Bill

Look closer. Every time I lost a rocket, I found something else. First the baseball when I was looking for the Lil Herc. Then the sunglasses after the Amazon flight, and finally a golf ball while I was contemplating the mess the Patriot was in. I thought the rocket godz were trying to compensate me.
