Hey, this has reminded me... I got the decals on the rocket, but I haven't gotten a picture yet. Next few days, I promise!

As Snoopy thought to himself after digging up Linus' blanket (after being hugged nearly to asphyxiation by a grateful Linus, after Lucy buried his security blanket to break him of the habit once and for all): "Every now and then I feel that my existence is justified." :-) I look forward to seeing your SpaceShipOne (an Estes kit re-issue with your rear-ejection parachute would be intriguing), and I'm tempted to try my X-Prize Lucky Seven (incorporating changes, based on your experiences) and Gauchito...

Excellent Max alternative!

And Red Maxes have square-edged fins, not rounded, so your treatment is faithful to the original.

But I’m a bit biased ... here is my Der Saturn Max. Flew it’s maiden flight at NARAM last August. It was a big hit. With maybe the exception of Vern and a couple others.

Wow, Chris, where ya been? Seems like it has been a while since you posted here. I hope your time away has been ‘good’ time. I know from experience that ‘life happens’ and can make time on forums very limited and very unimportant by comparison.

In any event, welcome back.

Not yet. Soon, I hope. I lost my regular launch field, and while I've arranged a few launches here and there I haven't managed to find a regular place to fly. The days of sixteen flights in an afternoon have escaped me for the moment.

Don't worry about the time. I'm still not finished with my Skonk Wulf by Shrox....but I'm getting there!

Looks great, rounded edges or not.

A perfect introduction to it might be: "As originally envisioned by Wernher von Braun" :-)
