I couldn't get free shipping to come up with less than a $50 order.

So...I bought one each of these!

Cosmic Interceptor
Sizzler
Laser Lance
Xarconian Cruiser
Asteroid Hunter
Super Neon XL

Most of these are ones I was eying at Tower Hobbies. Looks like Estes is undercutting Tower's discounted prices by a few bucks apiece.

I went a bit silly. But then I have to pay huge freight to have the parcel relayed to Australia, so, the more kits I buy the better the freight cost per kit ratio.
Still works out far cheaper than local supply, and half the kits aren't available here anyway.

I dropped $71 - there was some great deals. Bundle #2 was already sold out.

I was hoping to see the Sky Dart, Nike Smoke, or Mega Red Max on special but no luck.
Going to order an Argent anyway.

I thought about ordering a Cosmic Interceptor. But reality set in. I started a large Interceptor when they came out. (1350?) it is still not finished. Got a little carried away, and I think I bought 6 or 8 of them. And because I never had the original, I have 8 of the 1250s also ...

Fact of the matter is, I have about 150 kits in storage. If I build one kit a month, I have enough to last my until my 75th birthday. And I'll bet I have enough parts to scratch-build stuff until I'm 80-something.

Got my pile today!

I'm only keeping the Executioner starter set and four "fancy" models. Everything else went into the raffle box.

Got mine too. Well, my freight forwarder has it anyway.
I'm almost too scared to calculate the shipping cost to Australia, oh well, I'm committed now.....

Edit: Cheapest option is $117!
Works out to $7.80 per kit tho, not too bad I suppose.
