I use it too but I get it from Hobby Lobby usually July 5 when all the 4th of july stuff goes on sale for $0.10 a roll. Of course it's red, white and blue but the price is right.

I reuse Estes wadding. One or two school launches will net enough for a year or more's worth of home launches. Give the kids a few small plastic bags and they will have the playground clear and your bags full in no time.
I love how a plugged motor thread has turned into a recovery wadding thread.

Normally, by now, we'd be discussing small block Chevys or talking about an upper decker Doug .

My wife and I just saw the commercial for the Dr. Pimple Popper TV show the other day. I think I averted my innocent eyes before it was over ...

Just depends on where you live. Our club has been doing a yearly rocket launch for 12 years with a local 8th grade middle school class. The teacher has them all build Alphas and we RSO and take the club launch equipment and run a launch for them. The kids prep them in class and bring them out ready to slide on the rod. They get pretty creative with the paint schemes too. It's a lot of fun and normally about 300+ students per event, 8:15 am to 1:15 pm. Verna has some B8's in her engine stash but I don't recall if they're plugged or not.
