In a few months I believe, maybe sooner.

I'm interested in seeing what this weighs.
Looks to be a candidate for the D21/D24

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

John,

A tip of the hat and hearty congratulations for Estes doing this! The graphic inside the box is also a really nice touch. I think Estes is going to sell a million of these.

Agreed, this product is going to be huge, especially if they can get it on the right retail shelves.

Remember: this kit isn't for us. It's for the next generation of born-again rocketeers, who will pay too much for pristine examples on eBay in 2044 when the 75th anniversary of Apollo 11 rolls around.

The Lankfords starting flying at age 11. Bill Stine (who I either forgot or missed going to Estes) was born with a B.8-4(B6-4) in his left hand and a B3-5 (B14-5) in his right. John Boren builds new models as fast as Mabel made motors. I'm looking forward to the future of Estes!

A rubber MMI Aerobee-Hi nose cone was his teething toy. No kidding.

Reading that story in the_mole's post just reinforces my thought that my former employer (Boeing) indirectly bought (or at least paid for) Estes Industries through their purchase of Aurora Flight Sciences.....

How do you do that RTF? Is it made like a Barbie doll?

If you can sell that to the Amazon and Facebook desktop market you can sell 10x as many.
