That would have been fun! Maybe they'll "visit" again next year.

I've used this method several times. Bring a flashlight, but only use it if you really need it. Be quick about it; spray a lot of wasp spray into the opening, and leave quickly. Even if a hornet is still active and sees you (doubtful), I haven't seen them give chase after me yet. |

My brother is allergic to bee stings and carries an Epi pen(?) with him at all times. His worse encounter was while he was on the roof of his house a yellow jacket got inside his can of Dr. Pepper and it stung the inside of his mouth. He then fell off the roof, broke a leg, and then gave himself the shot. What a day!

He better switch to 20oz plastic bottled Dr.Pepper with replacable cap.
Sheesh. Larry, Curly, and Moe could not have fabricated a worse scenario.

What if he was in an outhouse and a yellow jacket happened to land on the toilet paper just as the wiping motion began?

That's pretty good right there, but to match or exceed falling off the roof, the seat boards would have to break enough for him to slip down and at least dunk his junk in the outhouse effluent.

Ya got me there, Bill but I gotta agree with tbzep and a bit more.
He'd have to fall INTO the Fecal Pit. Would make typical Jenkem seem tame. Involuntary Retch-O-ramA Powr-Peukin' would ensue from the Incredi-Stinkkk.

Up until I was about 14, my maternal grandfather refused to allow a flush toilet in the his house. He considered them unsanitary, so everyone who was there used the outhouse. When I was 10, I was taking a deuce in it one Sunday and about halfway through the second grunt felt a sharp pain on my left butt cheek. I jumped up to see a yellow jacket fly away. After hurriedly wiping I went and got a flashlight and went back and looked underneath the seat. Sure enough, there was a big nest of the suckers. It had been there all summer, but I was the first one to get nailed...... |
