Turns out I've had a 1/10" ruler for almost 50 years, and I didn't remember that until today.

Ahhh, but do you have the rare and wonderful 'Boston Lightning Rod Co.'
ruler? I think not.

I actually didn't know if it was a Joke or a simple mistake.

What am I missing? I don't see the word "lightening" anywhere on the ruler. I see "lightning", which is spelled correctly.

Are you asking what an actual "lightning rod" is?

Not a 1/10ths ruler, but one of my favorites. Available very cheaply all the time on eBay. Just do a search for "astronaut ruler."

Also, I recently purchased some dirt cheap but very nicely made safety-cutting-edge rulers. I do a lot of precise cutting of wraps and these are very nice. Rubber strip on the underside is very thin allowing the flat edge to lay almost directly on the object being cut.

eBay listing

But in all honesty, I'd really rather have one of those Centuri rulers!
