The Astra 2000 fins were thin as I recalled. I don't remember if the fins were made of plywood or balsa.

They were not modified FSI Black Brant kit fins.

The rights/ownership of the Enertek product line belong to RCS.

Interesting. RCS now owns AeroTech, Enertek and Enerjet.

So that means, ask Gary.

His handle here is AeroTech.

That model was almost completely scratch-built by Marc McReynolds.
The body tube was the only pre-made item.
Marc turned the nosecones on his lathe.
The fins were scale and featured a leading edge cuff.

The Recruit strap-ons were very detailed as were their attachment points.

The paint and finish were excellent.

Of the three Enertek scale models, the Astrobee 1500 is the one I wanted most to own.

Although it was absorbed by Aerotech by the time I saw a catalog, me too. It's a beautiful model and looked great in that catalog.

But it sounds like the patterns went the way of Lee. However, it may be worth asking, thanks!

I was thinking it would be fun to clone the Enertek initiator with wood fins and Estes parts, using the AT decal which could be trimmed a little. The drawback is I think the Estes 2.5 inch cone is a bit stubby. It looks like the Enertek 2.0 and 2.5 nosecones were very long.

Non-scale Enertek nose cones were 5:1 ogive.

(Okay, the Arcas model used the 5:1 same ogive).

I think the Estes 2” nosecone is 5:1 so is a perfect fit for the Aero and Grand Slam models. The Estes 2.5” is only 4:1 so would be a bit off. I do think it would make a passable Raven though since it has a transition and could be done without custom turning anything. There is an allure about using the 2.5” parts to clone the Emanon and Raven, but going to 2.6 would allow the Aerotech NC to be used which I think is 5:1.
