As they were, only the F-104 was even close to looking right.

Which is why I ordered the 104. I could only afford one and it looked the best.

Centuri would have been better off making them futuristic sci-fi designs.

Hi Earl,
I won't be reproducing all of the Centuri Fighter Fleet models, only the ones that hold
my interest. My goal was to improve on the designs, get them closer to the actual profile.
This is most evident on the F-104 Starfighter.
In the picture below is an original Centuri F-104, below that is my Odd'l Rockets kit.

Sorry for any confusion Chris; I was referring to Raul's plans to recreate all the Fighter Fleet, but had started with the F-16.

You have done a fantastic job with redesigning the F-104!

Totally agree! That F-104 screams "add me to your fleet"... Looks way better than the original Century F-104. Excellent work!

OK, Mr. Banjo,

Who did you pay to build and finish the F-104 model?

My F-16 I did years ago.
It flies, I just have to finish it.

If I would build it again, I would lengthen the intake tube.
Put an inlet splitter in the intake tube.
I added the vertical fin base after I built the rocket.
Looks terrible.
I would add a shroud to the top of the body to the wings.
If you need more, ask.

Default A thought...

To both Raul and Chris:

You gents might want to consider creating/offering an F-16 variant, the F-16XL...seems like a pretty easy change, same parts as the regular F-16 but with a cranked delta wing planform. Google F-16XL, you won't be disappointed.

(Love that NASA Dryden black paint scheme!)
