Any other night that would be an invitation for some shenanigans or even the formidable tomfoolery. I bet there was none that night.

I never really paid much attention to the Apollo launches until the ASTP.

Unlike most rocketry people my age, it was getting started with model rockets that began my interest in space exploration rather than the other way around.

I am disappointed that my family never drove down to see a Saturn V launch. We lived in the panhandle of Florida and it was just a seven or eight hour drive.

I like SHENANIGANS, TOMFOOLERY, HOOLIGANISM, and general NO-GOOD-NIK PRANK-ACTION..
Especially when it used to involve REAL M-80s, Cherry Bombs, Silver Salutes, Blockbusters, and/or M-100s.
Those should be brought back legally and UNREGULATED whatsoever.
I'd like to see the CPSC and NFPA BANNED instead.

I started Prankin' and Shenanigans at age 4 when I got my entire kindergarten class to bite into Lime slices. Never too young or old.

We were quite sheltered. We didn't know wedgies existed until middle school.

In my area "Wedgies" were also known as the synonyms "Beverly" or "Snuggie".
ATOMIC Wedgies were those resulting in material rippage.
