Want a F-4 Glider? Have 6-different graphics-you might like to print this one out to build.

Best to use one sheet of 110# cardstock and then printer/copy paper for second sheet to keep weight down, print nose weights on cardstock. Print at 100% scale-DON'T PRINT FIT TO PAGE.

No F-4 glider, thanks.
I have a 1/10 scale R/C F-4D in the "triple nickle" /"Ritchie/Debellevue" ace paint scheme.

While I like the awesome F-15 Eagle as well, those are NOT available at all on the open civilian market.
The F-4 and F-16 are. The F-4 would HAVE to come first. It holds a special place for me. I have actual photos of those taking off under full AB with full loads out of Ubon RTAFB during 1968 and 1969.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Totally get the importance.

Until The F16 flew down a dry gulch that I was building a barbed wire fence on top of, the F4s were my favorite to watch in the Hill AFB MOA in Northern Utah where our cattle ranch was located. Lynn, UT was the location.

The F4s would only get so low crossing our valley, the F16s were at ground level. The B52's would do a low level over the lowest passes, not really getting to close to the ground.

I can still see the first time I saw a F16. Was looking down into the cockpit from where I was tamping in a steel post. Could hear it coming but couldn't see it until I looked down. Blew me away when I saw it, just couldn't believe it. Radio was cranking out Betty Davis Eyes-remember everything as it happened.

Pretty sure the F4's were limited on how low they could go, one crashed into the top of one of our valley's mountain tops, took years to find it, a fellow rancher was looking for some lost cattle when he found what was left of the site.

When the Israelis blew up the Iraqi nuclear reactor they flew F-16s as low as 100' above ground level.
This was to avoid radar detection on the inbound leg.
F4 avionics are much older than F-16s.
Pretty sure they don't include terrain following radar.

The last "Combat Active Duty" F-4s were F-4G Wild Weasels. Pretty sure those had updated avionics, but don't know if they were "terrain following"; the last F-111s had that though and those were older than the last F-4s.

According to this video, the motor may have chuffed a bit.

The X Prize was so long ago; it is good they did not give up even with a fatal accident.

There may be ultra-rich who may try to collect flights: one Soyuz, one Virgin Galactic, one Blue Origin and one SpaceX.

I was in T or C last week and saw the mother craft but not the spaceship.
It's not as big as I thought.

Here is a link to a short video (about three minutes) recapping the flight. This appears to be drawn directly from the original footage sources (not the broken up transmitted signal) from the cameras on board the vehicle. Gives a much better ‘feel’ for the overall experience.

As was commented earlier in the thread the video signal transmission during the mission broadcast left something to be desired.
